Hi, I’m Christian Raab. I started coaching for the Warriors last year, and it’s been such a joy to work with this group of middle school girls. Stepping into youth basketball has been a whole new and exciting experience. My heart is to encourage the girls not only to grow in their skills on the court, but more importantly to love God and love others. I believe basketball is a great tool to help shape character and build values that will carry them through life. And just for fun—one important (and sometimes controversial in Chief’s country!) fact is that I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, so cheering on the Steelers will always be part of who I am!

This is my second-year coaching with the Warriors. I am a Warrior Alumni and played basketball from Middle school to high school. I love the warrior program, and my favorite thing about coaching is watching the players gain confidence and grow in their skill.

Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win!  All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize

(1 Corinthians 9:24-25)
