Christ is first and foremost in my life, and that foundation carries into the way I coach. My heart is not only to help these young women grow as volleyball players but also to encourage them to deepen their relationship with God. I have been coaching volleyball for 5 years, with experience in both club and regular season play. Before coaching, I had the privilege of competing at the collegiate level at Southern Nazarene University and Friends University. My volleyball journey began with the Wichita Warriors, where I started playing in 8th grade as a homeschool student. I also competed in basketball, track, and soccer with the Warriors, and spent 4 years playing high-level club volleyball. Being homeschooled and part of the Warrior program was such a blessing in my life, and I count it a joy to now give back to the program that shaped me as both an athlete and a person.

I have coached volleyball for about 10 years for both school and club. I also spent several years coaching basketball. I have a strong passion for understanding the fundamentals of the game and developing the whole player.

My name is Kelsie Krizek, and I am the head high school JV volleyball coach for the Wichita Warriors! First and foremost, Jesus is my Lord and Savior, and my ultimate goal is to daily lay down my life for Him. I am a married homeschooling mom to 3 amazing children, and I am also volunteer respite mom for a local ministry here in Wichita. I played volleyball in middle school and high school in Edmond, Oklahoma, and I love the sport! My goal as a coach is to give God the glory in everything I do as we are all instructed in 1 Corinthians 10:31 and to teach my athletes to do the same while also helping them advance their technical skills in the sport.

Assistant Coach: Rebekah Hotalen

I began playing volleyball in third grade and continued through my senior year of high school. The sport had a significant impact on my life in many ways. After graduating, I took a year-long break from volleyball and quickly realized how much I missed it. That experience inspired me to begin coaching, with the goal of helping the next generation develop a love for the game just as I once did.

Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win!  All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize

(1 Corinthians 9:24-25)
